The add-ins install directly on your Word and Excel menus, requiring no additional settings or tweaks from the user. They will just appear as a new panel in the program’s ribbon, from where you can insert a new barcode, navigate to the developer’s site or ask for help. When you click on the “Insert Barcode” icon, a new panel opens on the right-hand side of the Word or Excel window where you will find all the settings you need to create and insert the new barcode – type, data (when required), size, etc.
